Fashion today moves too fast. Too loud. Too careless. Engagés Engagées was born from a moment of clarity, a realization that fashion had become a system of waste, overproduction, and forgotten hands.

Founded by Julie, inspired by her seamstress grandmother, the brand began with a simple decision: to stop producing more, and start creating better. In Marseille, in a small atelier filled with reclaimed linens and vintage fabrics, forgotten textiles are patiently sorted, washed, and transformed into limited-edition pieces. Sheets become dresses. Jeans become jackets. What others discard becomes something meant to be worn again.

Each piece takes time. Each material is chosen for its quality, its history, its ability to last. Engagés Engagées works slowly, locally, and transparently. Rejecting excess, rejecting greenwashing, choosing instead small-batch production and thoughtful pre-orders to avoid waste. Not trend-driven. But meaning-driven. Through upcycling and French craftsmanship, Engagés Engagées turns what already exists into something enduring — clothing made to be worn often, kept long, and maybe one day passed on.

Through upcycling and craftsmanship, Seconde Main transforms forgotten materials into unique pieces, made to last. Every year, tons of second-hand clothing arrive in Madagascar, while local factories discard unused, often burned, scraps. This overflow becomes a symptom of a system at its wit's end. Yet Madagascar is brimming with exceptional textile expertise: sewing, embroidery, crochet, weaving. A precise, refined craft, still too little recognized. It is from this tension, fueled by both a love of the gesture and the rejection of established patterns, that Seconde Main was born.

In Antananarivo, reclaimed clothing and textile scraps become unique pieces or limited editions. Here, upcycling meets Malagasy craftsmanship and contemporary design: to transform what already exists into a living resource. Each creation is born from what is there. Designed to last, shaped to reveal. Seconde Main imagines a bold, structured, and deeply rooted fashion. A sustainable alternative that takes its time: valuing resources, preserving gestures, creating differently, and inviting you to choose clothes that gently resist standardization.

We instill expertise together through co-creation. Far from rigid patterns, clothing becomes a space for expression and transmission.
Each piece is a dialogue between materials and colors, gestures and stories. Creating under constraints is not a limitation, but a playground. This is where it all begins. What seems finished to others becomes, for us, a starting point. Our creations are not born from scratch. They are anchored in what already exists to write other stories, those of a careful and committed fashion, which prefers connection to trend. We don't just make clothes. We contribute, in our own way, to rebalancing a system.
